Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse and Logistics Incharge to oversee and manage all warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the FMCG or plastic polymer manufacturing industry and possess the skills necessary to ensure efficient and effective warehouse management.
Requirements:
- Any graduate with at least 5 years of experience as a Warehouse Incharge in the FMCG or plastic polymer industry.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Proficient in computer skills, particularly in warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office.- Hands-on knowledge of shipping, logistics, and supply chain management.- Proven experience in managing and coordinating with diverse teams, including forklift operators, drivers, storekeepers, and other staff.- Ability to work collaboratively with production, finance, and sales teams to achieve organizational goals.
*Preferred Qualifications: *
- Certification in warehouse management, logistics, or supply chain management.- Experience with warehouse automation systems.- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
*Key Responsibilities: *
- Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring smooth workflow and timely processing of goods.- Supervise and lead a team including forklift operators, drivers, storekeepers, and other warehouse staff.- Coordinate closely with production, finance, and sales teams to ensure seamless operations and meet company goals.- Oversee inventory management, including stock levels, storage conditions, and accurate record-keeping.- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the warehouse.- Handle all aspects of shipping, logistics, and supply chain management to optimize the delivery process.- Monitor and manage the use of equipment, including forklifts, ensuring proper maintenance and operation.- Develop and implement strategies to improve warehouse efficiency and reduce operational costs.- Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance, including inventory levels, turnover, and productivity metrics.- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, transport companies, and other external partners.- Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure that all products meet required standards before dispatch.
